Candolim Beach, Goa Goa beckons the visitors from around the world with the glimmer of its opalescent seas, its soothing breezes and radiant sunset. Major Attractions

Panaji:
The capital of Goa, Panaji is home to many renowned Churches and Mansions built in Gothic style. The must see of the Panaji are the Chapel of St. Sebastian, The church devoted to our Lady of Immaculate Conception, the Goa State Museum, the Secretariat building and the statue of Abbe Faria.

Old Goa :
Old Goa has some of the most famous churches. The holy Basilica of Bom Jesus, houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. It is a famous pilgrimage center for Roman Catholics. Other well-known churches are the Convent and Church of St. Francis of Assisi, Church of St. Cajetan, Church of St. Augustine Ruins, Church and Convent of St. Monica, Church of Our Lady of Rosary, Chapel of St. Anthony and Chapel of St. Catherine.

Colva and Benaulim Beach:
Located in South Goa, these beautiful beaches are quieter than most of the popular beaches near Panaji. Colva beach is the longest beach of Goa. The festival at the local church, bull fights in the vicinity and stalls on the beach are some of the major attractions of this beautiful getaway.

Calangute Beach:
Perhaps the most stunning beach of the North Goa. This Pristine beach was said to have been discovered in the 1960's by the hippies. It paved the way for the many European tourists who come flocking to this place. Calangute beach is also known as the queen of beaches.

These are easily available at the Government Emporia as well as at shops and stalls at popular tourist spots.

Night Life:
Nightlife at Goa is exuberance of fun, frolic and a bit of liberal enjoyment. Discos, pubs and bars sets a perfect ambiance for the party animals looking for enjoyment.

The beaches of Goa is lined with restaurants and bars, each effervescent. One of trademark Goa activities is dining at the beach shacks. Ambiance at local restaurants is pleasant, the alcohol is cheap, the fruit juices fresh, and the sight of the sea roaring uplifts your spirits.
