Old Goa has some of the most famous churches. The holy Basilica of Bom
Jesus, houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. It is a famous
pilgrimage center for Roman Catholics. Other well-known churches are the
Convent and Church of St. Francis of Assisi, Church of St. Cajetan, Church
of St. Augustine Ruins, Church and Convent of St. Monica, Church of Our Lady

Perhaps the most stunning beach of the North Goa. This Pristine beach was
said to have been discovered in the 1960's by the hippies. It paved the way
for the many European tourists who come flocking to this place. Calangute
beach is also known as the queen of beaches.
